Commitment
Joining a Scout Troop requires a commitment by a Scout to participate in all
Troop meetings and activities so far as he is able, and to abide by the
policies, rules and dress codes set forth either in writing or as announced
by the Troop Leadership. It also requires a commitment from the
parent/guardian to help enforce this commitment, and, if asked, to help
provide support for the Troop's functions.
Fees
Registration/Dues: $150 per year
per Scout. $100 is registration that goes to council. Dues is $50 that goes
to the troop to cover awards and program materials. Trips and troop
shirts have a separate fee. Uniforms and handbooks are purchased by
the parents at the local scout shop or online.
The Troop will accept new members at any Troop meeting. Membership is open to boys of any religious faith. You can sign up online at BEASCOUT.ORG.
